Doing the little happy dance.

awwwww thank guys!

It is kinda scarey. When hubby came home from nightshift yesterday morning, I handed him a present. He said 'what's this?' and I said it is from the baby of the family and he said 'Oscar? Why is the cat getting me something?'

So he opened it and there was a cute little teddy bear and a card. The card has a picture of a baby with angel wings sitting on the beach with 2 teddy bears. At the bottom of the card it says "Celebrate the precious gift of life".

Inside I wrote: "Do you believe in second chances? It appears we have been given one. I love you my darling , your wife and the dot".

He read it and when he got to the last few words he got it. He said "you tested?" and I nodded and we hugged and kissed and cried and then he wanted to hug again. He was so happy.

When I left for work I said "Bye Daddy" and he said "Bye Mummy". LOL It was quite funny.

When I got home last night there was this beautiful boxed flower arrangement on the table. He had gone out, despite being dog tired from just having worked 12 hours, and gotten me flowers. Awwww

So despite knowing it is positive we are being very hesitant in making it official. We decided that as AF is not due until Saturday, we will wait until then, test again and then next week I will go to the docs. We are nervously happy about this but scared stiff because we know that bad stuff can happen.

Last time we were pregnant we thought we were invincible and then I started bleeding and it was the beginning of the end. This time, I will do absolutely everything I can to keep this bub.

It is going to be a very scary ride and I hope you can all be along for the ride with me. I just pray that little Tukka (so named because he\she tukka long time to get here LOL) hangs in there for the ride too.

Bugsy we met on an Aussie parenting site a couple of years ago. I've been following your story ever since and have been silently keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

I just wanted to say that I am so really very happy for you and your hubby. It really couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS and may the next 8 months be healthy and uneventful.

What a wonderful way to have shared the news with him. You were like a living pregnancy test commercial.

I had tears in my eyes, I'm so happy for the both of you.
