Happy public holiday

Hello my wonderful friends. I am feeling great today and totally positive. For the last two days I have been so tired I have had to have a nana nap in the afternoons and it feels great!

Today is Queens birthday holiday - I told hubbs that I thought it was amazing that a country like this had a public holiday for a rock band. He didn't even laugh!

Yesterday we told Mum in law so now the telling of family and friends is done until we get to that magical 12 weeks.

We were not quite sure how we were going to tell her, but when we got there we sat and had a cuppa and then she pulls out this little ride on car that she bought ages ago for the other grandkids and says "I was going to throw this out because the kids are getting too old for it now, did you want it?" and hubbs says "You might want to consider hanging onto that Mum" and she said "am I going to need it?" and looks at me and I just nodded.

She said "I knew it". She says that everytime she gets nauseous she knows someone is pregnant and she got nauseous on Thursday which is the day I told Hubbs.

She is so happy. and now I feel more at ease myself.

p.s. I went through my knitting books and I found some instructions on doing a flat seam, so I am going to give it a go - perhaps tonight when I am not so tired.
