Stress Stress and more Stress

Someone once told me that in this life, you are only given what you can handle.

Perhaps my life is testament to that?

I have so much on my plate at the moment that I wonder if I have reached my limit - am I still "handling" it all?

Work is so busy and I get more and more behind every day just by the sheer amount of work pouring in. A new girl started yesterday who is supposed to end up being my backup so perhaps given some time to settle in, she will be able to help reduce that backlog somewhat.

Only a couple of weeks now until the big home renovation begin. 4th October the kitchen and main bathroom get ripped out and the mess really starts. I can't wait.

There have been so many tasks that we needed to accomplish since we married and somehow they never ever get done. The renovation is just one of them and once this is over, I will finally feel like we are getting somewhere.

The cost will bowl us over for a while, but we are not going into any debt to do it so that is one thing. What's money anyway? hehe, I think we all know the answer to that one - the stuff that allows us to eat every day.

I have been so sick with the flu this week and had to succumb to another lot of antibiotics. This, of course, has given me a terrible case of thrush. I gave in last night and went to the chemist so hopefully I should have conquered that in a couple of days.

Well I should go to work. Hang in there everyone. The weekend approaches.

OMG, you're renovating????

I have lived in a house while my parents renovated, and it taught me one thing: Always get the professionals in!

Good luck with it all. At the end of the kitchen reno, you'll never want to see another paper plate in your life.
